I'm 37 years old
going through a divorce via mediation
ex wife is disabled - living off benefits in our old family home
I live with my parents
we share a 7 year old daughter
Ex is dating a new man
I'm dating a new woman
Have just been made redundant
Ex Mother in law is alcoholic and keeps trying to get a rise out of me
Ex is playing games with access and financial needs

Is there any advice other than "take it one day at a time" that can help me get through this st? (that doesn't involve a potential jail term) or "grow some" hehe

thanks

You're still young, healthy I'm assuming and "attractive" enough to be involved in a new relationship.

And you have a child who I'm prepared to bet you love dearly.

What's not to be happy about?

Knowing that you've hit rock bottom is a very liberating feeling: it means the only way from where you are is 'up'.

It will feel like everything is getting worse before it starts to get better, life being full of it's ups and downs and all that.

But, it does get better, you see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize you've been an unhappy tit for too long and should have done something about it sooner.

Take each day as it comes, enjoy the new relationship and your daughter and I'm sure everything will slot in to place all in due course.

When you say 'new' woman, do you mean they've just had the full nolar?
