When I was married, it used to swap depending on which side of the bed the missus had got. I t had been known for her to wake me up in the night to move to the other side, as she was uncomfortable.

These days, out of choice I sleep on the right, bu I also tend to lie diagonally across the bed, so my feet are on the left, but my head is on the right.
