Which side do you sleep on in bed?

I've noticed that almost by default, I sleep on the left hand side of the bed, and in 11 of the 15 places I've lived for any amount of time it has been the side of the room with the window on it. So do I default to the left side first and window 2nd when choosing???

Who knows.

I sleep on the right and neither of us can get to sleep if we swap around.

Mrs HGL does that all the time and the tossing & turning all night! It's like sleeping with a Tasmanian Devil... More than once I've had to unravel her from the sheets to stop her strangling herself!

When I'm on my own in the bed, the other side stays in it's 'just made' state, so I guess I don't move around too much when I sleep.

My OH sleeps nearest the door as I dont hear my daughter when she cries at night.
If Im away with work,it will depend on which bedside lamp works, where the telly is,and other important factors!

I'm on the left, not out of choice, its all down to her being able to see the telly when one is the spooner rather than the spoonee...

So this one is really, do you sleep on your side, and if so which one? And not, which side of the bed do you sleep on?

I sleep on my right side, helps with The Stranger

I always sleep on the side that is closest the bedroom door.

If, god forbid, anyone ever broke in at night, they'd have to get past me first before getting to the wife.

It's now the left side at home as we've just moved.
