Bored of? WTF ... where did that come from?

I see it all over the place on here: It seems that "bored of" has replaced "bored with" in the PH vernacular. When did that happen? The example in my dictionary still shows the correct usage and I don't see "bored of" in books or newspapers. Is this just another bloody lazy, type as I speak convention that is as insidious as it is sickening?

I've never seen it, never, ever, never, never, until this thread.
Or is this some subtle way to introduce your fave new word to the PH masses?
