Surely its not just me that has to have a leg out of the covers or risk not being able to sleep at all, that and needing the window open for fresh air even in winter...

Or am I just a freak?

You are just a freak.

Aren't you scared that the monster under the bed might grab your leg?

Sleep Rest assured, you are not a freak. I too sleep with window open and dangled leg uncovered. Not always, but more often than not!

Me too.

Always.

I would have the window open all year round if the missus didn't complain, and no idea why!

I am 21, ok 39, and I do think that someone might grab my leg if I stick it over the edge of the bed! It's ok just inside but oh no not to go over the edge. WTF!

And yes I have checked under the bed for god knows what many times.

I also sleep with one leg out the covers. Summer. Winter. It makes not a difference.

No idea but I do exactly the same. If I have both legs under the covers I get way too hot though! The wife just thinksI'm weird - though TBH shes probably right...

Yep, often sleep with one leg out in summer. Reason is to offset SWMBO's one concession to summer which is to NOT switch on the electric blanket (at least that is a split circuit job).
13.5 tog quilt and other winter-type attire are apparently essential all year round. No glimmer of light from any source is tolerated and a window is considered open if you can insert a spark-plug feeler gauge, however thin, between the window and surround.

Sometimes get an attack of cramp though.........

It's bodyheat regulation.

I do it too. Get too warm under the cover, completely subconciously poke foot out until temp is perfect again.

I'm the same, though it's purely to have a cushion between my legs... just more comfy. Windows open EVERY night of the year.

Guilty too, need the room as cool as possible to sleep, love a freezing cold bedroom in winter especially.
