Oh great I can see it now, if it blows it will be positive proof of MMGW and we'll have to be taxed more to compensate frown

Yes but don't forget Co2 from volcanoes good. Keeps the planet warm and keeps us alive. Co2 from cars bad, drowns Africans

Last time it actually dropped global average temperatures by 1.2 C for 5 years.

Wonder how Gordy will react to that. A new sort of tax possibly? scratchchin

This is all to do with global warming and the recent eclipse. We are facing a disaster and its all caused by mankind. We need to reduce our dependancy on fossil fuels if we are to survive. The warm weather makes viruses like swine flu live longer and they will kill us.We need to work together with all our friends in the world and save the planet
We should throw these people into the fking volcano

I love volcanoes.

One of my ambitions is to see one up close (not too close - mind you) for real.

I've been up the top of Vesuvious (twice) but it was frankly disappointing. But then, most of the time Vesuvious does nothing and then BLAM!

hehe I was going to post that idiot's comment. It is either a fantastic troll post or it is a marker on the amount of people left who actually believe the MMGW/CC/GW/MBP hyperbole after all.

I was on top of Etna once when it went pop (as opposed to bang!) - we were all evacuated back down to a safe altitude to avoid the flying bombs!

Etna goes off fairly regularly. It's the ones that lay dormant for years that are the really dangerous ones.

I wonder if they used the same version of photoshop as they did with the apollo landing sites?

Volcanos are popping off all the time. This having any potential for more than a bit of letting off some steam?

Rather nice site for some more

Mt St Helens was interesting in the way the last eruption lasted years but no display that you would normally associate, just a growing lava dome.

My missus went to Ecuador in mid 07. They were planning on a visit to Tungurahua, but the hill had other ideas.
