But does it? She's showed nothing more than any other young actress (jessica beil's magazine spread at age 18 anyone?) yet she gets to still play the "cute" card by saying they were private while also attracting the "i like slutty wes" market. Disney might not like it on the surface but i wonder if deep down they dont see $$$ flashing.

No, Grease was good thats why the lead roles carried on with acting and have been very successful. This tripe will just fade away, bad storyline, wooden action and really cringworthy.

Instead of saying this tripe has "achieved its goal" try complimenting other kids films, like The Spiderwick Chronicles, Madagascar, Shrek (any), Charlotte's Web, Cars, Harry Potter etc etc

HSM is just commercial st and designed to grab as much preteen money as they can, at least the other films are slightly educational and parents can watch them.

I think it gives kids false values and hopes, they really belive this is what they should aspire to and as a parent I am saddened about that.

Jeez, even Hanna Montana is actually ok!
