Yeah... Get a tankard. I still have the one I got, and it;s one of those things you keep... Just make sure it;s a nice one, and not a bit of tat from argos.

bought my nephew a motocross helmet and put on a card that when it fits properly I will get him a motorbike (PW50 like I had!) I was not exactly popular with certain people in the family, but you have to give these kids a fighting chance of not being tied to a games console!

Like it but would get shot by the parents and the missus!.. Don't want to do the old tankard thing, must be something unusual but fun etc.. am a god parent after all :-)

That takes me back. I had a little PW80 when I was about 12.

Only ever used it to tear up my uncles field though. Awesome present.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's a christening. The child already has zero say in the religion being forced upon it, let's not make it worse! hehe

go on do it, you know you want to!

40quid on a child's MX lid and then in a few years 200-300quid on a mini moto, and if they don't like it you can ride around your house on it, nothing like riding through the lounge to the kitchen for another beer! (not that I have ever done that, ever, pretty sure SWMBO doesn't come on here but best to be careful)

I am not too popular with that side of the family as his parents and grand parents are very VERY religious so they think I am the devil already, so have a mission to rescue the lad if he wants to try cool sports, cadet kart anyone?!?!
