I went back to a friends last night after too many drinks. She was giving me the right signs and we ended up in bed. I was too drunk and couldn't actually get into a physical state to 'get-it-up' so we fooled about and ended up falling asleep, but not before she blurted out she still had a boyfriend. To make it worse I sobered up and was in a better state so I figured I'd try it on with her again and I ended up just getting blown off. Half an hour later, I just got dressed, said goodbye and left.

Now I'm in an awkward dilema where I:

-don't want to lose a friend,
-don't want to let our friends know I couldn't 'get-it-up',
-don't want her boyfriend to find out,

Whatever I do will be awkward but should I just send her a polite text or message on facebook saying I'm sorry about last night and lets keep it quiet between ourselves, or does that seem rude.

(PS. any helpful advice and pisstaking welcome wink )

Ok, whats going to happen is. She's going to tell at least one of her friends what happened, this will include how big your member was, which by the sounds of it will be rather embarassing due to it's 'uselessness' her friend will then tell one of her friends. This will go on and on until everyone knows, including her boyfriend.
Somewhere down the line you'll walk into a pub and everyone will shout 'floppy knob!!' at you.

Yup, written evidence, that's what's needed in this situation.

If you want to remain her mate then phone her rather than texting and apologise properly. If you text/message her via facebook and instruct her never to mention it again, it'll could across like a huge blow off, and probably seem quite hurtful.

But you're happy to tell strangers on the internet?

Just a good old fashioned verbal apology. We don't all blab everything to our friends. Give it a try you might be pleasantly surprised.

So true. This is how a mate of mine earned himself the nickname "Mr Floppy". It stuck for about a decade hehe
