I love it. Greatly. Where did this come from, and does it pass the virtual custard test?

Don't.

I know someone who had a meeting with all their eployees to tell them that they didn't mind them using the net at lunchtime but otherwise it was for work use only between 9am and close.

One of the staff 'poked' them on FB at 10am the following day and then proceeded to spend the rest of the morning on there.

They were greeted that afternoon with a speech which went along the lines of; "I'm not so sure which is worse. The fact that you are stupid enough to let me know you were messing about on FB this morning before doing so and after yesterday's meeting or that i employed someone that stupid in the first place. I think we should give each other the benefit of the doubt this time and you can try very hard to convince me i wasn't a total moron for employing you."

Good to see the Boss has nothing better to do that look up what his staff are doing at ten to 11 in the evening. Must have a few mates he could be bumming instead.

Both as bad and as sad as each other.

What?

It would have appeared on his home page when he logged in.

hehe Legendary.

I have most of my colleagues on FB including my CEO, but they are all a sound bunch, so no worries.

Indeed. For those not hugely familiar with Facebook, you can configure your friends so that public comments they make appear on your home page - similar to a forum really, except only your friends appear on it.

Oh and your boss if you've invited them. What a dork the poor girl must be.

Superb. And I know at least one person who is always posting about work who this could easily happen to.
