Held at my parents house, which is of reasonable size with land. 3-400 quid.
As long as you have a minimum of 25m from the fireworks to the spectators then you could do a really good display for that money. A professional one will start at £500.All year shops I would recommend include Great Northern Fireworks http://www.greatnorthernfireworks.com/
Firework Emporium https://www.fireworkemporium.co.uk/
Newsbox http://www.newsboxfireworks.co.uk/
Definitely take a look at this place to get some display tips http://www.firework-review.org.uk/index.htm.
And use a gas torch (available from any B&Q type place to light them. You will find it makes lfe a lot easier.

definately the way to go. I have used them several times and they are excellent. Go for a few of the single ignition fireworks, they are expensive but well worth it.

I would seriously not blow my money on this stuff. It is mediocre at best (sorry Nathan)http://www.blackcatfireworks.ltd.uk/fireworks/blac...
All of the firework shops I have quoted will give you good advice on the best items to buy and correct methods of setting them up. Galaxy have been mentioned somewhere in the thread and they will also give good advice.
Also, if you are looking for seriously good kit then these guys have to be tried www.shellscape.com they do some of the best fireworks I have used (and I have used many thousands of pounds worth over the years)

It's the closest shop I know of. Don't be put off by the piss-poor website design, the guy who runs it is a good chap. Tell him "Sultan" sent you and he'll treat you well (but don't say I said his website was s
