Brought a tear to my eye!

Just watched last nights "How the other half live" on 4OD (this will probably get moved to TV now!)after my daugter told me how good it was.
One of the few times a "reality" TV show has been so uplifting, both families were so obviously well guided by two good sets of parents, something which is sadly lacking in many problem youngsters.
The kids from both backgrounds were a pleasure to see with neither a chip nor silver spoon between them.
Suggest you watch it if you get the chance.

It was a million times better than last weeks effort, which just annoyed me sooooo much.
Apparently the first week was a very good one as well.
Still winds me up though that these people who are about to be evicted from there house have got a flat screen TV, a Wii, a pc, a TV in each of the kids bedrooms, oh and a surround sound system.
Theres a months rent there.

I would presume that is the lure of the Prov or a local "only two pounds a week" shop. Normally I would agree on the TV etc apart from the fact that the kids couldn't go out and so would go stir crazy if they didn't have something in the house.Apparently the first week was a very good one as well.

how generous was that family?! uni fund for the kids, paid for their wedding, and gave the guy a much better job on the caravan site thus getting his family out of london!
If you think about it, once you are financially sorted, what could give greater pleasure than being able to transform a whole family's life. Giving is so much more fulfilling than receiving.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
