… or phrase, that describes city folk moving to the countryside for a more genteel pace of life? (Possibly just for a year or so, like an adult gap year?) We're trying to think of it at work and it's bugging us… it's one of these 'new' words that have been around for the past decade or so. Not downsizers… but along those lines!

It's like that… but specifically coined to describe said urban>rural migration. Keep trying though, it's appreciated!

Good grief - next you'll be running the idea up the flagpole to see who salutes it.

It is a rather abhorrent word! Working in an office full of journalists keeps the 'new-age business BS' to a minimum, thank fk! Now I'll just have to put my ladies in a line and touch base with my flagpoles.

I feel sick...

Obviously an Americanism (as most of these phrases invariably are) relating to what they do when they are driving.

I'd call it "dropping out".

(Not a new idea - "Telford's Change" anyone?)
