I elbowed her in the face last night...

My girlfriend stayed over last night, she stays over quite a bit but as I still live with my parents not all that much.
It seems that however much I hint and tell her I like my space when sleeping it falls on deaf ears. She insists on sleeping at least in the middle of the bed and as if that is not enough for her she tries to steal some of my side too, I wont even go into the cover stealing.
Well last night it appears karma was on my side as in my sleep I rolled over and elbowed her right in the cheek. She was fine.
Maybe she will stay on her side next time.
What does yours do to annoy you?

You are me AICMFP. Exactly the same problem here, I end up on the edge of the bed with her sprawled out like Lady Muck. Also very weirdly I have also t
tted her in the mush in my sleep. She was fine but also does it less now... guess she's taking the hint! This reminds me of a terrible "joke" which I really ought not type on here.

Mine ain't got a cat, but feels that the middle 50% is hers. How I'm supposed to use the 25% on either side is beyond my working out.(I've punched her a few times in my sleep too...)

Hide a sack of potatoes in the wardrobe. Place sack of patotoes on one side of bed, when she cuddles up to it, carefully get into the other side This used to be a problem for me, I'd be trying to cope with a measly 25% of the bed and my girlfriend would claim the rest.
It's mostly stopped now because I seem to have subconciously decided to do something about it: apparently I have a tendency to partly lie on top of her as though she is just another part of the bed (Her words: 'It's like you don't even know I'm there!')
I'm a heavy sleeper at the best of times but its worse if I've been on the ale. God knows how I manage to stay asleep with my head resting on top of hers but I tend to get more space now...

My saving grace was that the persons name that was used was a colleagues of mine and i had been at work all day with her. Plus the OH knows my colleague is a f
