Know how you feel. The worst bit is that we're receiving our results by email at 6:01 a.m. but everyone keeps saying you'll be able to find out if you've got into uni on UCAS Track at midnight, which is just wrong according to the stuff they sent us last week.

So now I don't know what's going on. But either way I won't be able to sleep tonight. And I'm spending the whole of today touching cloth...

Good luck!

And take solace in the fact that in a few years time no-one will give a toss what grades you got smile

Too true frown

To do the same course as my brother's friend did at the same uni 5 years ago I now have to get AAB - he had to get BBB... Unfair IMO

But your generation is much more intelligent than us oldies, look at all the high grades you get which we weren't able to achieve.

I understand where you're coming from - back in my youth, I got rejected from all 9 uni and poly choices (through UCCA and PCAS) before I even did the exams (my mocks were, well, shocking) and had to go through clearing to get on a course, any course. It, clearly, wasn't the ideal situation but after the initial induction interview no-one has ever asked me what I got at A-level.

You'll be fine smile

Yes - universities care. They are just about the only people that do! hehe

Since getting my degree, i've never been asked about my poor A level results.

The other thing is, of course, that the exams and coursework are all done now, the result bit is not worth worrying over, you can't change the outcome by worrying!!

Never a truer word spoken (or typed), never stopped me worrying though!

Hope people's results go well, and remember it's not the end of the world if they don't.

Wonder what odds I'd be offered on another record year for the number of people achieving passes/top grades?

Cynicism aside, best of luck.

Ah, I remember my A levels, I spent most the time drunk or high and usually skipped lessons to play poker instead.

Same here, I still got into my uni of choice though. They wanted ABB or AAB not sure which and I was offered a place with BCC.

I didn't take it and went to work for the MOD instead.

I am guranteed a B for DT. Expecting A.

Hoping for A in business, guranteed C.

ICT I have no idea as my coursework was remarked redone , well tbh worst case scenario it's a C, hoping for a B. Guranteed a D.

Predicted AAC , guranteed BCD, hoping for AAB.

  • Guranteed merely means working around UMS points and rough grade boundaries btw
