Hi all,

I'm heading to the cinema this eve and would be most grateful if anyone had a code they would be kind enough to PM me? I will gladly buy said person an e-pint (or a real one should we ever meet) biggrin

Just text "FILM" to 241 and you'll get your code by return wink

won't work then, as you have to show them the text you receive from Orange with the code. Don't think you can just tell them it

You can. I've done it many times and have seen other rocking up with codes written down on bits of paper. Makes no difference to the cinema I guess.

OP could get someone to forward the text they got from Orange to him though and it's unlikely that the cashier would notice.

Or forward the text to the person instead, or is that too much common sense?

thumbup very much tingymagig biggrin

I haven't ever had problems with them accepting the codes.

I have always texted the number to a friend's phone, saved their number as '241' just in case... And they always ask me to read the code out!

Bit late for today, but don't forget that Pizza Express have a tie in with Orange Wednesday's too, 2for1 main course, plus free garlic bread or doughballs each:

You do know the text tickets cost 35p each right?

My other half got Oranges cheapest PAYG phone for this purpose, cost her £10 with £10 of credit on the phone as part of the deal.

OK slightly off topic here but I have done that, bought a orange sim for nothing just for the 241 offers, and it managed to lock itself straight away as I didnt give it a code..any ideas?

I'm guessing your normal sim isn't Orange, and most phones these days are locked to a specific network. You can either unlock your own phone (can be done for a small charge) or buy an unlocked one.

ETA I have never thought of buying a sim purely for 241, would pay for itself in just a few weeks...

ETA Again - My 241st post, spooky!! hehe
