I was passed this link by a team mate (for amusement rather than for any religious agenda).

Obviously Im not religious - but what on earth are people thinking paying someone to store some documents to try and convert their friends once they've 'gone'.

Read with horror:

I wouldn't be too happy about someone sending 250mb of rubbish to my Hotmail address, especially if they're dead ffs.

It's good to know junk emails will still get through once "the Rapture" has happened.

Wait.... what?

Christians believe that after the Rapture, those that are "left behind" have run out of options. So what is the point of this website even for Christians? confused

All religion is an Advance-Fee Fraud anyway, but that's beside the point.

WTF is "The Rapture"?!?

Surely it would be good to explain this on the site?!

Still rather bizarre!!

I can definately see the appeal of this, but not for religous st!

You could just store up every single bad thing you have to say about people, and in the event of your death all the emails get sent out telling everyone what s they are and they are not welcome at your funeral hehe

Read the FAQ's hehe

Q:With all of the devastation after the Rapture how do you think the emails will be delivered?

A: I do believe that the Internet will be up and running. There may be some localized temporary outages. Today the entire global economic and commerce system is completely dependant on the Internet to function. They will keep it working. There is also huge redundancy and overlap in the system. A message keep trying pathways and services until it is delivered. Most of the net is buried underground. Eventually God will take it down, as he destroys the World system that has been built up by a people trying to do it all without him. That won't be until the second half of the tribulation though.

Oh, sorry. My mistake. I assumed that the "left behind" thing was talking about Rapture rather than just simply dying.

If it's simply dying then what does this offer over a Will? If this was your thing then you could simply specify in your will that tracts / pamphlets / spam / whatever be sent to a list of recipients surely?

For anyone interested in what the God-botherers mean by "Rapture" then see Wikipedia

Edit: Seems they *are* talking about the Rapture.

What you do is you keep all the incriminating evidence you have on people until after you die and have a similar system send it out to all the other people in the list and their families with a photo attached at the bottom of you flipping them the bird with a big grin on your face.

Here's my friends take on this random st

Mate said:
so basically, this website thinks that The Rapture will happen. Which is Jesus' return to earth, where by he'll then take all of his Christian followers to Heaven, and all us non-believers will be left behind, and this site allows you to leave messages for all those non-believers... so it implores them to leave messages to become Christians & have the chance for redemption!!

Sums it up for me.

And as I said earlier, I was under the impression that they believed that once Jesus had done that then the rest of us were basically fked (ie. no chance of redemption) which kind of makes this even more pointless than it at first appears.
