I know its a fire, but what is it?

And why were you woken to deal with it? Looks like a fairly standard fire? confused

Was it your house at 1.55am? hehe

It's not the actual fire he had to deal with per se, it's that pesky pile of rubbish out the front if his house that's been bothering him for months!

The OP just wanted to let us know he has now dealt with it. Well done. thumbup

Or is the OP a fireman who is a bit cheesed off at having to get out of his scratcher and go and do his job?

Guess he is a retained fireman. Unless blue watch were tired after all that volleyball and went for a bit of a kip

This thread is a poor excuse to mention the fact he has an R500.

An R500 as a scrap metal dealer? Wow, where there's much there's brass is plainly true...

BTW, what on earth was that on fire?

Mexico.

Would probably help if the OP was to come back and actually tell us what was going on.

Yes, yes in all the excitement he forgot to actually say what had happened. Oh well! We will just have to await his return with the R500 to discover his plight.

Just got back from caterham so feeling a bit cream crackered now. The fire was our light iron heap. Have no idea why it caught fire but once going it was a fair sight. Can burn pretty well seeing as theres a lot of plastic inside washing machines etc! I took the picture after the fire brigade were on top of things. The bit i was dealing with was making sure over a million squids worth of plant and machinery didn't go up in smoke. Would like to say that the retained fire brigade definately earned there callout last night.Well done!!
