Advice on my eBay listing please

I need the help of the PH geniusseses.

I am selling a thing on eBay, and I want to know how I can maximise the price it goes for.

I have done all the things I can think of to make my item attractive:

- no reserve

- good pictures, I have taken myself

- tiny start price (1 pence)

- I have written the best eBay listing you will ever read, frankly

I have heard of shill bidding, but I refuse to contemplate that because it's against the rules (and not fair).

Is there any way I can manage to sell my item for more than 1p?

Other than doing what you have done, no, there isnt really anything else you can do.

If its worth something it will sell for more than 1p so I wouldn't worry about that.

Have you offered reasonable P&P costs ? Sometimes I see thinsg but they've just added a load for P&P to make some more money so I leave it alone.

It's frustrating though - most eBay ads are terrible and hard to read/understand. Mine is brill yet nobody's buying my thing.

A perfect stranger even sent me a question, but it wasn't a question, it was them saying "best eBay listing I've ever read!" - and they had like 2000 feedbacks, or something!

I think it's reasonable. I used the postage calculator to work it out.

Sorry, not helpful am i, to be honest it does sound like you have done all you can, i run 2 ebay shops,and find you can go days without selling a certain something, then do 30-50 in a few hrs.

Makes no logic at all.

Make sure you have it ending at a sensible time of day when people are at home for last minute bidding. Sat or Sun afternoons are good!
