There was something similar near here recently, I thought it would all be about renewable energy and similar stuff (which I'm not against), I even considered going to see if there was anything viable as I have an interest in these things.

Then 8 nutters chained themselves to the gates of the local peat burning powerstation and it was on the news. Decided to avoid after that as area is obviously full of the type of environmentalist that you want to avoid. The police have arrested the nutters
