this is really the only way it'll happen. otherwise you're counting on the extremely small chance they'll pass one of the message scroll things and actually take notice of it at the exact point your message comes up.

If it's really important and you don't mind the world knowing, you could phone up Radio 1 or MTV and try to get the presenters to make a thing of it - might make good radio/TV getting a chinese whispers thing going to try and find the right person.
