just got a glimps of the professionals, and some guy, who's now in (eastenders) is wearing one. Not seen a Donkey jacket for hundreds of years.

Anyone still got one, ever had one?

Yes i had a donkey jacket but think it was binned a while back now. I also had fond memories of a burgandy pineapple stitch jumper. Or shouldn't i have said that???

Always best to have one with NCB on. (National Coal Board for you youngsters).
Still some around the ex-coalfields.

Donkey jackets were great. They probably got phased out due to Hi-viz being demanded in so many situations these days rolleyes

Donkey Jacket...Bloody hell not heard that for a while!

The standard issue 'florescent' jacket of the 1980's. Everyone had one. Coalmen, dustmen, council workers, teenagers, men, women (ummm).

Also standard fit were a set of DMs and a great big "anarchy" symbol.

didnt mark fowler wear one similar on the stall, he had the aids tooand not the good kind! do u really want to be associated with that,
