40th bday present ideas?

Basically, I never got round to buying a present for a friends 40th birthday and now I'm feeling bad about it I want to get or do something for him. We both live in the Midlands. Ideas??

Just got given a leatherman for my last day at work - super chuffed and a now feel more of a man because of it - using a big stupid lock-knife to open a letter - yes please.

Fair point - he's married with a couple of young kids, used to be a biker till his mrs sorted that out, likes outdoorsey stuff and is an Engineer. I'd spend £100 give or take some.

Get him to donnington and send him on one of those single seater experience days. Our lot got me one for my 40th, and i have to say it was brilliant, best day ever!!
