Okay, okay I know that many on the site know about this place already, and I suspect a few might have contributed to it, but for some of the newbies and those who have forgotten they might want to look at this place:-

http://www.fmylife.com

There seems to be a lot of tension in the air at the moment. Summer is coming to an end, the kids are about to go back to school, people are starting to think about the cost of Christmas as the shops helpfully start to stock up on baubles and st again. The recession is still here, and even worse the French seem to be beating us out of it and all in all most of us are wondering what the hell happened to the year, it's the end of August already!

Still, no matter how pooh your life is there are others who are having a bad time too, except their pain is funny smile

The site i have provided the link to is possibly NSFW for many but to give you a hint of the sort of thing you'll see on there:-

Today, I was driving past a farm that always has 4 chickens walking around outside. It always cheers me up to see them, but I couldn't find them. I wasn't watching the road so I didn't see when I ran over all 4 chickens. FML

or

Today, my mother told me I should think about quitting school. She explained that the reason was because she didn't want me to be more successful than my older sisters. FML

"Today, my mom told me she was getting tired of that smell of marijuana in the house. So I confess and tell her I will never bring it home again. She was talking about my neighbors." FML

As long as you can read them without the mental image of some dumb-ass adding the word 'DUDE!' to the start / end of every sentence, then some of them of them are quite amusing.

Today, on the train on the way to my mother's house, I was playing Mariokart with my son. He got a 'bomb' item, and yelled quite loudly, "I have a bomb!". Panic ensued. We got thrown off the train at the next stop. FML

"Today, for my birthday, my mom presented me with a $4,000 check to pay for my braces. I've been very self-conscious about my teeth for years. Everyone applauded and told me how happy they were for me. Later, my mom asked me for the check back. Apparently it was just meant to make her look good. FML"

That's just mean!

"Today, I was driving to work when a state trooper rammed into my car from behind, because he was on the cell phone and not paying attention. He gave me a ticket for "Failure to control speed to avoid a crash." FML "

I thought that State troopers all had Dashboard cams these days and could no longer get away with this one! A very similar thing happened to my freind a number of years back frown

Today, my mom : "You and your dad like all the same foods right? Try this for me", she then proceeds to give me a strawberry flavored jelly. I say that it tastes good and ask what she gave me. "It's my new nipple cream, I want to surprise your dad tonight." FML

True, many may well be, but some are scarily believable

Today, My mom walked in on me and my 2 year crush about to have sex. When she saw us she said "oh I'll just wait outside, I know it wont be long anyway." FML

Today, I received my passport in the mail. They got my birthdate wrong. Then I picked up my birth certificate that I had sent in with the application. Turns out my parents have been celebrating my birthday on the wrong day for 16 years. FML

Today, I thought it would have been funny to cut off my friend's rat-tail. He thought it would be funny to put a brick through my windshield.

would have done the same if not more if someone did that to me.

Today I saw a boy slip on a wet floor and catch himself Matrix-style. I was the only person to witness it, so we both went in for a high-five. I immediately slipped and caught myself in the same fashion. I like to think our high-five was really a transferring of ninja powers. MLIA
