True love slipping away :-(
Discussion
You've dumped her twice, told her she's not the woman you want to spend your life with and now you say you love her.
It would appear from the outside that you only want what you can't have. (ie at the point in which she's had enough of being dumped and accepted it/ is no longer 'available' to you - you want her back)
In my opinion you've f
ked it.
Don't keep pestering her, this displays lack of self-esteem (very unattractive).
Learn life's lessons and apply them to new relationships.
Sometimes you need to f
k up in order to not make the same mistake again.
This advice would be applicable to male or female.

Just thinking how to phrase a reply and youve just said exactly what I was going to but probably more eloquently. It would appear from the outside that you only want what you can't have. This.
We've all got one of these in out past.
You've blown it, and you'll have to learn to live with it, just like the rest of us.
You MAY be very lucky and IF you stay AWAY from her then she may soften. But I doubt it.

But deep down I know she really loves me, she is just trying to be strong and independent and protect herself from me hurting her again.
That's plain creepy.
You do not KNOW what's going on in her head. Only she knows that! If you "know" something like that you are just making it up. It may or may not be true.Instead: interpret her actions. If you haven't worked it out I have got news for you: she's sick of your bulls
t. Parakitamol has it right. Leave her alone, sort yourself out.
There's a lot of life left to live - go and enjoy it.

At the end of last year I broke up with my girlfriend. For a while it hadn't felt right so it seemed like the right thing to do. I then went through a similar set of feelings, that she was definately the one and I would happily quit my job and move to her to make it work.
All I can say is thank God I dodn't do that. It is just a phase in the process of getting over someone (Denial). You ended it twice becasue it didn't work. If you got her back you would still resent having to give up your weekends for her family. The two of you are obviously not compatible.
Go out and emerse yourself in some things that you want to do. Be selfish for a bit and put yourself first. You will get past this feeling and in 6 months will know that she was not the one.
(Obviously this is just going on my experience and the little information that I have read here)

Im not going to jump to any hasty conclusions here as I dont believe you've completely ruined it.
IMO I think your best course of action is to leave her to it for the minute, dont bother her. Ulthough you see the chocolates and flowers as a heart felt apology, its more likely she see's them as more 'hassle'. If I were in your shoes what I would try to do after letting some time pass is arrange a meet up with her just to talk rashionaly, tell her all that you feel. Without sugar coating however it is up to her to decide if you both get back together, having already given you a second chance the ball is well and truely in her court.
I wish you the best of luck
