This really pisses me off. I don't get it. How can someone try to say "ask" and end up saying "aks". Mongs.

It's like when someone says "I've got the texties on my phone". The plural of text is texts, or text messages. Spackers.

I've noticed that many English people can't say "sixth" properly. It comes out sounding like "sickth".
They seem to have problems getting the correct "x" sound.

Another word commonly mispronounced is "deteriorate". Many people prefer to say "detereeate".

The moment I posted that, I started saying sixth over and over. I realised I add an 's', making "sicksth."

Language is a living thing. It continually evolves through everyday use and we can do nothing except try to keep up.
Sure, we could try and enforce regulations on the use of language and complain bitterly when it is used in a way with which we disagree, but where would we be then?

What annoys me is nucular. I hear pronounced incorrectly on the TV so often I just know it's going to slip out at some point in the future - probably whilst at work, which would be embarrassing.
