Throw it away and get another bag
'But it was the last one'
Oh the hardship, the humanity!!
I ate a green crisp yesterday - do you think The Economist would be interested in my plight?

You know those baby books where parents keep a lock of hair and all sorts of other baby-related memorabilia? Well, my mother has the first letter I ever received. It was from Smith's crisps... when I was little, she bought me a bag of crisps, Smith's Salt N Shake, legendary pack of crisps. Anyway, the bag hadn't been sealed properly and the crisps were soft so she wrote off to them on my behalf. This was Northern Ireland in the 70s, times were tough, my folks could ill afford to lose a pack of crisps.
Time went by and Smith's wrote back, a nice apologetic letter with a voucher attached for another bag of crisps.
Looking back on it, I despise the lack of imagination that my mother showed. She should have contacted the Telegraph. She should have made a
of both me and her and got our photos in a respected daily national newspaper.

The boy, of Bournemouth, Dorset, opened the packet of McCoy's salt and vinegar crisps from a multipack only to find a naked Mr Potatohead.
His mother, Lucy, 30, a nursery worker, told the Bournemouth Echo: 'I looked and Mr Potatohead's nakedness was literally all that was in there'
'It' looked like one of those frozen potatoes

A spokesman for Mr Potatohead said:
Mr Potatohead would like to profusely apologise for falling asleep on the assembly line - the coitus that he enjoyed with his partner resulted in him falling asleep straight after sex.
Mr Potatohead, however, expressed some concern for the whereabouts of Mrs Potatohead and, in future, promises to not expirement in sex in odd locations again
