I think it largely depends on where one-is-at in life to be honest. Exciting won the day though.

No surprised at the poll result given the amount of, "My wife is screwing somebody else" topics lately:

1) Women: Reliable wife, exciting gf... BIG difference
2) Cars: Exciting but cheap to repair (says he with a TVR waiting for a rebuild)
3) Jobs: Reliable - work to live, not the other way around
4) Life: Exciting, obviously, but that is up to you, not the people around you or your collection of meaningless stuff

But a little exciting every now and then is always a good thing. that's usually when you get into trouble

1) I agree.
2) Also agree. Done the TVR thing, done the track car thing. Don't regret it a bit.
3) Well, you can have interesting jobs that make you want to go to work that have a potential to earn a lot of money. Although, the more you risk in terms of not pursuing a career and working for someone else, the less "reliable" it is.
4) I agree. We need our own goals. My goals may suck when others look at them but they are things that make my life interesting (particularly working a 4 day week).
