Teach me to whistle

When I was younger, I could do the whistle with fingers/thumbs etc. But I tried to do it this weekend and couldn't do it and ended up with a hand full of spit. I can still whistle without fingers but obviously it's not as loud. It's beginning to wind me up now as i know i used to be able to do it.
So Come on Ph.. what are your trusted techniques?

I found that if you slightly over lap the first two fingers from each hand and press back on the tongue whilst it was slightly curled up helped with a ear shattering blast.
Obviously it takes a little maneuvering of the elements to get it just right.
This a a skill I nearly always need while trying to get peoples attention on sites.

Cue a spit stained monitor after about 50 tries and once it whistled... not loud though.. much practice is needed i think.. that will piss the mrs off tonight Obviously it takes a little maneuvering of the elements to get it just right.

I only used to do it with one finger from each hand though im sure.
