From my son (9) and I'm stuck redface

One day a 3O story building was on fire. A man jumped out of a window. There was nothing under him or holding him up but nothing happened to him. how is this possible???

Why the capital O and not a 0 ?

Did he jump from a ground floor window?

Was the window in the burning building?

What do you mean by "nothing under him"?

Sorry, yes he was in the building, and he was on the 30th floor. 'nothing underneath him' means there was no crash pad or suchlike to land on when he jumped.

O/P the response is to spank him - spank him hard. You may not be able to best him in a battle of wits, but you can sure as hell beat him in the physical stakes.

That'll teach him to mess with you.

Are we assuming that the 1st/ground floor is at ground level?

He jumped through a simple internal window, and the fire was just a chip-pan fire that was extinguished soon after.

It was the reigonal headquarters of one of the UKs major double glazing firms. The man jumped out of one of the windows that were lying around in the office on a different day to the day that the office was on fire.

Also, he was the Launa man, and the Launa man can.

I don't see a parachute as holding him up. It's actually letting him down slowly!
