Girlfriend going to do nude modeling. yae or nae ?

Been with her for 6 months.. intense / in love / usual start of a relationship all going very well.

May be irrelevant.. I'm 41 she is 28..she's gorgeous and I'm a lucky fella.

She used to do nude modeling over a year for an art school before I met her,modeled full time for 2 months.

Now.. she said to me the other night she wants to do it again on some nights part time,to supplement her income as a nurse..she's just started nursing and on a pretty low wage and art school nude modeling is surprisingly well paid comparitively.

She asked me if I was ok with it,gut reaction NO ! , but played it cool and said i thought it was ok..

Eating me up inside,don't like it at all,not a trust issue.. just dont want ANYONE looking at her nude,I wouldnt want my mum to do it, and not my girlfriend whom i care for very much.

I'm pretty laid back,don't want her to feel pressured like I am contolling her if I say I don't like it and changing/manipulating her.

How would you feel if your girl started doing this ? Is it old fashioned I think my girlfriends private parts should only be for me to see ?

If she was thinking about getting her kit for a Lad's Mag then I'd probably understand your concerns. But she's going to be posing for an art class. They will be studying her as a bowl of fruit and not a sex object.

its not like she is doing porn stuff or films, she will be in front of a class full of people, being drawn. not touched, not spoken to simply looked at and drawn

Well, after you're initial reaction of thinking 'NO!' without telling her, I'd say 'pretty laid back' isn't exactly the right phrase, is it?

If she's done it before then she's perfectly happy with it. If you know that she's not doing it to pull some bloke in the art class, then I don't see what the problem is.

I suppose you could always start taking art night classes if you wanted to see more of her?

On a slightly serious note ,you say you are pretty laid back but this type of reaction would show otherwise. If she has done it before and it is genuinely for an art school then what is the problem?
You will only cause huge problems within the relationship if you suggest she doesn't do it.

Also ,if we are truly to judge if she should be nude modelling or not ,we will need pictures ,and lots of them!

I agree. Nothing wrong with it; as someone else has said, it's an art class not top shelf stuff But even so - it's only posing.

I've done it myself (modelling not drawing/painting) and it's bloody hard work. nobody, or at least very few, like 0.1%, goes into an art class with a view to perving at the model. They are trying to get better at artisting! you need to get OK about it or it will fk up your relationship. Either you trust her or you don't. If you do, get to the point where you're happy for her to do it, if you can't do that then you better find a way to pay some bills without insulting her.

basically, MAN THE fk UP AND STOP BEING SO INSECURE ABOUT YOUR AGE DIFFERENCE.
