The one that always annoys me is "we apologise for the delay to this service, which was caused by a delay to the inbound service".

and it's very occasional variant (I try not to get caught out these days):

I am so upset by the fact that you are annoyed about me not doing x/have nagged me about it, that I can't possibly do x.

Am I the only person to have to work with someone like this?
