Well I got charged £70 to get pulled off the other night and that only lasts 30 seconds, so its not that bad value in the grand scheme

My missis runs her Hair at about 100-120 a month. Its just silly! But then i suppose these people need a job.....

I must buck the trend then. Last had my hair cut at a salon in 2007. Since then DIY.When you can sit on your hair people just don't notice the ends much!

I humm and harr for ages about spending £20 or £30 on a tool, or shop around for ages to save £10 on a tyre or somesuch but then wonder why I bother - Mrs DL would spend that without it even registering that she'd spent it.

I've gone the other way recently and if I see something I just buy it. If I have a choice of basic or luxury I pick the luxury one. I might as well - she would.

I haven't paid for a haircut, or even been in a barbers for 20 years. I have a ghey little ponytail and I just get my gf to lop a bit off every couple of months.

I may look a complete tw*t but I must have saved myself a fortune.
