Charities?

Just been having a conversation about some "so-called" charities and how much they actually invest in their cause.
Are there any websites where money received and money paid out have to be declared?

I'm not sure, but I've heard a lot of the tin rattlers in pubs, take a heafty % of what they collect

I think these are people who are employed by a 3rd party - usually commission only - hence their sometimes heavy handed approach. They do not work or volunteer directly for the charity concerned.
