maths and physics past papers

does anyone have or know of where to get some GCSE past papers for Maths and Physics?

will also be wanting some A level ones later on.

Just wanting to get my brain back into gear before strting uni. Been a few years since my brain was exercised.

Googling should throw up some sites, I know there are some out there.

Are you going as a mature student? What are you studying?

yes as an old students. Doing electronics engineering. But I have to do a foundation yeaf of Maths and Physics, just want to get ahead before I start.

Have d/l a few after googling.

The mathcentre should be quite useful to you, its aimed at higher level maths / engineering type level of maths.

Also the papers are teired for different ability levels.

The top tier gives all grades, the middle teir means the most you can score is a C grade and god knows what the bottom teir is apart from source material for Daily Mail articles about dumbing down.

Make sure you get the right paper as one will be "Draw a graph that represents f(x) = -2 tan x + 3 and illustrate it" and one will be "If I have a bucket containing 2 litres of water and a bucket containing 3 litres of water how many buckets do I have".

I did that first time round, this time is for studying, not playing.

Im studying for a level 2 NVQ which includes a maths exam.If its any use to you I can send you some papers electronically.

The exam boards normally have a couple of specimen / sample copies on their sites

For a full set there is a charge, normally a couple of quid per paper

Also try the nrich website (google it)
