For me, the funniest part of Private Eye.
http://www.private-eye.co.uk/sections.php?section_...
Sir,
Much as I enjoy the inventiveness of the Pseudo Names column, I really do think the space it takes up could be better used highlighting areas of concern… such as the current plight of the fishing industry.
COURTNEY HADDOCK-LATELY.
Sir,
It is sad that Phuk Tifano’s mixed heritage (Eye 1239) means he cannot fully appreciate Pseudo Names. I have a Welsh mother and an Indian father, but I find it hilarious!
VERA M. HUGHES-SINGH.
Sir,
I laughed so much at the last issue’s Pseudo Names, I almost fell off my perch.
HUGH ZAPRETTI-BOYDEN.

Anyone think of any more?

Sir,
Thank goodness you’ve come to your senses and terminated that silly escapade. It was starting to get under my skin.
DERMOT OLOGIST.
Sir,
Wasn’t the very first Pseudo Name sent in in September?
ANNA VERSERY.
Sir,
Looking forward to the death of your column.
PAUL BEARER.
Sir,
I feel I have to spread the word far and wide about the Pseudo Names column...
E.van JELLICLE.
Sir,
Is there really a north-south divide?
ADRIAN SWALL.

Dear sirs,
All the vitriol currently directed at the financial sector is quite unfair. The credit crunch was initiated by a dearth of personal savings.
Shirley Eubank
Sir,
With the sucessful raid on the Jewellery store in London last month, I fear more criminals may try the same.

Not too dissimilar to the Late Arrivals to the Ball that are announced on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
Eg. Late Arrivals to the Builders' Ball
Mr & Mrs Wall-Carpetting, and their son, Walter
Mr & Mrs Jay, and their daughter, Iris
Mr & Mrs Chanceofacuppatea, and their son, Henny
Mr & Mrs Foursugarsinmineluv, and their daughter, Olive

Sir,
I for one welcome the influx of silly names on to your Letters page, as we here in Norway have little to do during the dark, snow-bound winter months and I could quite happily read this section of your esteemed magazine for as long as it takes.
TILDA KÅUSKUMHØLM (Kristiansand, Norway)
Sir,
We believe that this column has gone as far as it can.
