I have worked out the reason why the sea keeps rising..

Its because of all the big ships and boats!
Yup thats it! Think about it, we keep placing more and more objects into the sea, so it must cause it to rise even by a fraction.
So my answer to rising sea level is take everything out. Subs, boats, yachts etc.

But I wonder in reality how much all that stuff does cause it to rise ... 1mm, 2mm, 1cm? A mircron?

Where did they get the sand from though? If they got all the sand to make the 'land' from dredging the seabed, it wouldn't make a difference to sea levels. Im guessing they probably got it from the desert?

The amount of reclained land must have the biggest bearing, anyone have figures/data on the subject, it's not a difficult calculation to make.
There must be some government funding available for global/warming rising sea level studies, just don't tell them its to prove it otherwise, or strangely enough I doubt you'd get funded. Then again you could justify it with a 'new' reclaimed land tax premium they could charge though

Did you know: The weather makes a fair bit of differnce to sea levels. When there's a low pressure zone the sea level can rise locally by up to some* inches!
