Spam texts on my mobile

Lately I have been receiving random spam texts from mobile numbers informing me I can call worldwide cheaply and including a web address, today have had the same text from two different mobile numbers and luckily I have a 'block number' facility on my phone, although that will be full if the spam texts keep on coming!

A few people have been getting them. Most networks implemented a blocking system, but a way round it was found by sending WAP push messages, with a www link in them.

That won't work with the push messages, as they are a different type. They'll tend to have a little globe picture instead of an envelope.
For all others though, do it.

Yeah, I get the occasion 'service message' rather than text message which just contains some stupid looking URL. Spoke to Orange about them but didn't get any sensible answer about stopping them. Oddly I've never been tempted to actually open the messages, tw@s.
