Discussion
Currently bedbound. When not vomiting or in pain - I want to read. The trouble is I can get through a book in a few hours.I average 1 a day.
Recent reads:
All rebus books
Adrian Mole Diaries
All 30 something Dick Francis novels
All Inspector Morse Novels
All Dan Brown books
As you can tell my current choice is somewhat intellectually compromised - I blame that on not being well. !
Can't cope with anything sad or traumatic. So trashy books please!

But anyone who calls his hero Dirk Pitt....cmon.
You can easily read one of Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels in a day if you fancy some pulp fiction, but if you want something a bit more intense try The Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon (sp?) set in Barcelona in the first half of the last century. Best book I've read in a long time!
This week I read Engleby by Sebastian Faulks, and I recommend it as a good read. Week before I read Birdsong by the same author, again it's good, but the difference in style was quite impressive.
Just started reading Northern Lights - Pullman. One I should've read a long time ago, a few chapters in and it's very well written, quite captivating.
