1 x Debit card
3 x credit cards only one of which I ever use
Nectar Card
Game Reward Card
Shell Reward Card
Premier Inn Business Account Card (classy)
Oyster Card
AA Card
Travel Insurance Card
BA Club Card
Gym Card

I feel a cull coming on..... Only problem is if I take out the ones I dont use on a daily basis I WILL forget to take them when I actually need the bloody things...

I've seen "what wallet" threads on here before when people say they take a debit card and nothing else out with them... I wish....

Jeez and you men moan at us girls for the junk we keep in our handbags....In my purse I have one debit card, one credit card and some small change. This is popped into my handbag along with a pen, umbrella, lip gloss and nail file.

Leave all the pishy ones that have no value to a thief in your car glovebox. Then if you need them they are a short stroll away.
(Unless you are flying to see the AA on a BA flight after shopping in Game at the airport and staying in a Premier Inn.)

You're obviously the exception as most women I know have about a dozen cards, tons of change and every receipt they've ever been given.

Yeah but we carry in our pockets, wallet, cash, keys and phone. 4 items.
you women have the purse (most women carry alot more than you in them), pen(s), backup makeup, lip gloss, nail file, keys, mirror, phone, umbrella, other lip gloss, more keys, eye liner, mascara. Thats what you know of. When they are being emptied they also contain lost gems and items you haven't seen for 17 months.

One of my friends uses a metal business card holder thing for all his plastic and keeps his cash and the one debit card he uses all the time in his wallet. Quite a good plan actually, I may adopt this as I always seem to be breaking cards by sitting on them too.

out of that lot you really need,

1 credit card ( Amex do a nectar card which earns you the points on EVERYTHING you buy with it)
1 debit card (for cash)
2 Site access cards
1 oyster card

with options on the shell card and gym card (leave in your car)

all the rest you can state your name at the desk / phone and they'll find you.

That's about it on a day-to-day basis.
I like to travel light.

I've known the number off by heart since I was 17 and hte little piece of carboard was lost years ago.
