I notice a guy with around £12.5k worth got the £1mil. bd.

I thought it was usually 3 working days into the month...

...although it must be a darn sight easier for them in recent months I was on a regular £50 per month... now I'm lucky if I get a £25 once in a blue moon!!

Not won for bloody ages so it was a nice unexpected bonus!

We've got about 10k invested in Premium bonds and most months used to get a fifty quid cheque - not had any for a while now and see the minimum payout has been reduced to £25. Most I've ever had was £500.

No score draw here again too.

However! Don't give up hope - I know someone that collected a 10K win off something like only 2 or 3ks worth of bonds. So the big prizes do really exist.

We have had £10k worth for 2 years and won £50 in all that time, keep meaning to withdraw the money but keep forgetting.

I have 10k in them, and last year would get £50 pretty much every other month, but i don't think i have got anything at all this year.

Never had much luck with my bonds, got £50 in March then £25 Aug and Sep. Not a great return on 10k.

Have none of you numb-nuts noticed that interest rates fell to almost zero early in 2009 and premium bond payouts went with them?

£25.00 - 'spose it's better than the building society's rates at the moment though. Can't wait until it's my turn for the £1m. Maybe I should get used to waiting. Maybe it will never happen. Now I'm depressed again.

Nothing on £20k's worth. Seriously considering buying something more 'enjoyable' with the cash which has as much chance of appreciating in value, i.e. a classic car/painting/fine wine etc.
