Pole dancing, university and teachers :)

Lads, this morning I have possibly heard the greatest excuse/reason to head back to University 
I managed to grab a lift to the station with my drinking partner/neighbour this morning. He has recently started a teacher training course at Warwick Uni and he was telling me about one of the other members of the class. She is barely mature, having just finished her Undergrad studies and gone straight onto this course. She is 21 and blonde. Apparently in additional to all the usual and old clubs at University, there are now student Pole Dancing clubs. Yes, she is a member, an enthusiastic one by all accounts. She is also a training to be a teacher. She wants to teach high school, GCSE age. You can already see the fun cant you? Well, it gets better, her grand idea? She wants to bring Pole Dancing into the classroom. Of 15 and 16yo.
The Pole Dancing club is also open to male membership and like all such clubs you can just be a "social" member not "playing".
I suddenly feel the need to enrol on some part time course at Warwick Uni

This isn’t a good thing at all!! I work in teacher training and I think she would be hard fetched to get it into curriculum anyway but if she was successful on the merits that it is in fact really good exercise and on the assumption that they would a) all be clothed and b) not dancing provocatively (because I hope you all agree that’s just wrong!!) it would then ruin what pole dancing represents which is supposed to be sexual and fun. It would just turn into a side ways cross bar.

There have already been displays in several schools, Pole Dancing is percieved as 'sexy' but when you're in shorts and a t-shirt, covered in bruises from all the practice it's not. It is very disciplined and much like gymnastics, it gives you a good cardio work out and provides good all over muscle tone and strength. It's only the dance side that can lead it to being provocative.
There are concerns about childhood obesity, we need to bring fun ways of making children want to step away from the computer and into exercise.

You see you're wrong there. You mention un-sexy shorts and t-shirt. However, the vignette my imagination has painted is a pair of shorts that are more akin to a hot-pant bikini bottom, and the t-shirt that is cropped so short as to be able just see the bottom of the breast. Did I mention the girl in question is lightly tanned with a sheen of sweat on her skin? Don,it's the opposite of \o/ Which is a sort of "arms in the air shouting Yay" thing. Spose you could think of the reverse as "arms over head going "nooo"". Or something.
