Arabic Fancy Dress

My friend has just returned from Palestine and is having a fancy dress party with an Arabic theme.
I want to steal the best idea the lounge can come up with for a costume.

Do-it/make-it yourself is encouraged and we've already thought of terrorists bringing RPGs etc.

go as a jew. came back from israel last week and there aren't many things funnier than orthodox jewish attire. all you need is a wig, hat, some string and an oversized, primark's finest, cheap polyester suit. job jobbed.

if you want to go as a palestinian it easy, just dress like a chav.

Granfathers sports jacket assuming it is two sizes too big.
Red/white or black/white head scarf. (forgot name)
Contact lens with eye defects.
Grow beard.
Wander about muttering Kaif harlec and alhumdallah to everyone.

Probably enough to get you on one of those special flights to Egypt.
