Ebay help please

Wondering if anyone can help me please?

I've recently purchased an item from ebay, paid for it via paypal, item delivered & feedback left - job done (or so I thought).

But i've just recieved an e-mail via ebay, and the seller has asked to cancel the transaction without giving any reason?

The item was a buy it now auction (or best offer) and I offered £5 less than the asking price which was accepted.

Does anyone have any experience of a situation similar to this?

You've bought it, and received it, and they want to cancel?
If it's not an error, tell them you've already sold it at twice the price, and can't chat as you're popping out to splash some cash.

is this not just a way for the seller to get his fees back ? ie if you agree to cancel he get his final value fee and listing fee back ?

Thanks guys,

I think it could be something to do with fees as he sold it for less than it was advertised but it could also be a error on his part.

I'll sit tight for the moment and see what happens

Don't mind if I just hijack your thread do you ?

I sold on ebay (wish I hadn't bothered, it was a lot easier a few years back).

I have my sellers invoice, and I don't seem to be able to use Paypal to pay it ?

Do I *have* to pay with my bank/credit card ? really don't want to mess around setting it all up for a few quids.
