Quick question to the PH scientifically inclined - or those with more than middle school science:

why does tea with suger cool more slowly than tea without?

(it's a slow afternoon)

I have always noticed it being the other way round.

It's to do with Co2 and using a hockey stick to stir it with

My coolness is dependant on the amount of sugar added.

The sugar absorbs some of the heat energy from the tea (the overall amount of heat in the sugar/tea mixture remains the same) but releases it more slowly as sugar is sticky and the heat clings onto it for longer.
