The Logical is right.
Like when you're doing building work outside and have a pee (outside - I've got 6 acres of my own land and hundreds of acres of farmland around me) then don't wash your hands and go back to work.
Why go inside, pee, wash hands just to go back out to get your hands dirty again in 2 seconds?
When I'm finished working i'll come inside and go for a shower. And guess what? Wash my hands.
Mrs thinks I'm manky for doing that...

Me: You do realise that I go to work in my car. It isn't available to take you to the station.
Her: You could go to work on your bike. You know you need the exercise. (GOOD TACTIC THIS ONE)
Me: Don't deflect. I take my car to work a lot of the time because I may need to visit customers. Therefore it is not available. Ergo: we need a new car.
Her: THE MENTAL.
Much later.

To be fair my Mrs is normally utterly rational and sane. She's got a great career and smart and (of course I think) she's beautiful. It's only occasionally when she doesn't want to admit she wants something that you get THE MENTAL.
