Anyone here work for Lego?

There's a piece missing from my kit and i can't complete it, i also live nowhere near a lego shop so buying a replacement isn't particularly economical.

A missing bit, odd....in all the models I have bought my son, I have never had a piece missing. Normally get at least an extra 4 bits.

I often wonder how they package up Lego...is it done by weight?

I'd like to think it's Oompa-Loopa type folk who hand-pick the pieces.

Every time i've thought this, i've eventually found the piece stuck to my sock or that i've built it wrong.

Has anyone been building any of the Lego Star wars kits. They're brilliant.

On the subject of Lego, I am having a clear out at home and have for sale a range of recent Lego Technic models but don't know where best to sell them.

I used to sell stuff on e-bay but not anymore since their new rules and hikes in fees have made this unattractive.

Are there any Lego specific clubs that I could target? I have tried to google lego forums/ clubs but have not found anything that fits the bill.

Does anyone have any advice?

Back in the '70s, Lego were running a promotion whereby you collected stickers from boxes of Lego, stuck them to a card, sent it off and got free Lego.

My Uncle worked at the printers who made the stickers and the cards.

I got lots of free Lego.
