Mrs. K's Nan is 106 today. Not a bad innings at all....
Every year it's the same old same old, maybe this is the last one etc etc but she's as bright as a button and going anywhere soon.

Read about some old woman of similar age who complained about the Birthday cards she'd got from the Queen.
Every birthday after she was 100 she got the same designed card, rather than a different one each year.
Was a bit surprised at that.

I think if I got to that age I would be like.."OK I am bored now, when is heaven?" and then take up random adrenaline junkie type hobbies in attempt to end it in an unanticipated and memorable way.

OH's is an R reg and has made it through it's MOT again this year despite receiving little TLC and also despite the fact the head gasket has gone

Why do people ask what the secret is of old age? It seems to be the same question trotted out by a thousand journalists when some old codger reaches a great age. Variously it is smoking, not smoking, pint of stout before breakfast, not drinking, sex, abstinence or believing in God.
