Would you pay channel 4 for there recorded message to help you out of your anguish ?

And the recorded information line will tell you to go to the police whilst charging you for the call. I think if Channel 4 are going to try and help people out the least they could do would be to offer a service with a human being on the end of a phone line rather than a recorded message that told you what you probably knew already.

If you have an 0845 number, you actually pay for every call you receive.

I don't really understand that calls cost 'max 9p' + 2ppm. Doesn't make too much sense. Unless I am being stupid.

However, you are not allowed to take a cut of the revenue from 0845 numbers, it's an OFCOM regulation.

You can never get hold of them though. And when they run their occasional surgeries, there are fifty idiots ahead of you in the queue, come along to moan about their rubbish not being collected or their noisy neighbours. They just don't seem to prioritise their constituents' woes.
