About 6 o'clock this evening my 6 year old was watching some kiddy-garbage when he flicked onto one of the adult channels. IMagine my surprise when he finds some scantily clad young lady cavorting, posturing, and err, flirting for the camera (as they do). There followed numerous questions from him. Should this stuff really be on the TV at 6 in the evening?
At the other end of the spectrum the late night entertainment is just rubbish isn't it? Soft in every sense of the term.
Seems to me we have some hopeless middle ground, and consequently get it wrong in both directions. Wouldn't it be better if we didn't allow any of this kind of thing pre-watershed, and post 11, say, anything goes.
